About

I have recently earned an MFA in Dramatic Media from the University of Georgia. I'm looking for the right job in the right place and I am expecting to relocate for this. I'm primarily looking at the Eastern Seaboard, but will consider other places as well.

I'm currently in the early stages of work on a self-promotional narrative based on the fable "Hansel and Gretel."

My most recent professional work was to model and provide facial rigging for a female model for the textbook "Action! Acting Lessons for the CG Animator," written by John and Kristen Kundert-Gibbs. I also modeled the head and blend shapes for the male figure included with the book. There are examples of this work in my CGSociety Gallery.

My professional experience also includes providing eight shots for the program "The History of the Russian Navy," which aired on the History channel several times during 2007-2008. Also, I did modeling and QA work while interning at Kaneva, working with their proprietary software for their online social networking/gaming site.

Turntables of "Gretel" and examples from "The History of the Russian Navy" are here: http://laurafloyd.com/david/
